The archive project, which has been made possible by seed funding from Bloomberg Philanthropies and the Hearthland Foundation (founded by Kate Capshaw and Steven Spielberg), came together in June, when the Art21 team launched its new Film Archive Asset Management System (FAMS), a combination of collection and digital asset management software used to catalogue audiovisual objects.

New 42 has announced the launch of the New Victory Arts Education Resource Library, a free digital library which offers Pre-K-12 educators a comprehensive, user-friendly collection of performing arts-based materials designed to bring creativity and imagination into the classroom. Developed with funding provided through Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Digital Accelerator Program, the free digital library offers over a hundred arts education materials and tools that are widely available for the first time, and have been redesigned, tagged and cataloged to be easy to navigate.

Royal College of Art (RCA) takes a unique approach to postgraduate education, but it needed to overhaul its case management systems. Partnering with Bloomberg, it is rolling out ServiceNow to support its staff and students.
